Think before you type

Thank you everyone for all your messages about the Dhadi Video Good and Bad. I don't usually comment on people's thoughts but please when you leave a remark, carefully choose your words. Regrettably I had to remove a comment today because of this. You know who you are mate. I was born in Punjab and lived half of my life there. I don’t know what messed up twisted Punjabi cycles you have been rolling with but the words "Gilla Kacha" certainly do not have the connotations you mentioned.

This Video has been viewed by many older people I know and members of my own family who have also lived most of their lives in Punjab and have never come across your interpretation of the words "Gilla Kacha." So please I know you are only trying to help me but I would like to clear one thing here, the name will not be changed. Please keep your connotations in your own head do not fill other people's head with it. The last thing I need is someone who probably has never even been to Punjab giving me advice on what connotations certain Punjabi words have.

Thank You and Good Night

Belgium Trip

Just picking up our ride from Birmingham International. Damn thing had some pulling power, but was wasted on us.

Dhadi and Chan were unseperable. People were shouting "get a cabin you two"

Something about the man you cannot resist, brought out the sailor in me, when Chan was mysteriously called in by security, I tried my luck and yes we did get a cabin. Happy days.

Finally managed to come between Dhadi and Chan. Dhadis cant resist a bit of red.

After a long journey on the boat we settled down to our favorite beverage and watched our favorite movie "Brokeback Mountain" . Happy days!

Recieving the " life time Acwr award".

Gilla Kacha Jatha perform to a packed out crowd in Brussels.

Kirtan was kicking. Best sleep I had in ages.

*sniff* *sniff* After waking up I had a strange craving for "Cheesy wotsits" Umm Umm Ummm.

Boys in Blue.

Seafaring pirates keep parrots on their shoulder but our Dhadi prefers to keep a small camera-man on his.

Dhadi doing vichaar on the sea.

Visit to Italy

Earlier this year a remote village just south of Italy suffered a terrible drought. I was asked by the local sangat to help end it and get the hose pipe ban lifted. I was only too happy to lend a hand, obviously I lent both hands then washed em ofcourse.
Reading the official letter of thanks from the Italian government after successfully ending the drought. It read " Ma Ma Mia Mario cart e la Luigi merci beaucoupo la fake babo, thee draughto thee endo thee lifto thee hose pipe bano"
Helps a great deal if read in an italian accent togather with the hand gestures.
