Thank you everyone for all your messages about the Dhadi Video Good and Bad. I don't usually comment on people's thoughts but please when you leave a remark, carefully choose your words. Regrettably I had to remove a comment today because of this. You know who you are mate. I was born in Punjab and lived half of my life there. I don’t know what messed up twisted Punjabi cycles you have been rolling with but the words "Gilla Kacha" certainly do not have the connotations you mentioned.
This Video has been viewed by many older people I know and members of my own family who have also lived most of their lives in Punjab and have never come across your interpretation of the words "Gilla Kacha." So please I know you are only trying to help me but I would like to clear one thing here, the name will not be changed. Please keep your connotations in your own head do not fill other people's head with it. The last thing I need is someone who probably has never even been to Punjab giving me advice on what connotations certain Punjabi words have.

Are you drinking alcohol? If not please remove that pictures which are on your website.Please I know it's your personal choice but as a gursikh you are in that category in which you have to try to make more gursikh and your are showing a wrong path.You are a good person and humourous as well.This is your best part.But some people try to show your videos as a mask to not follow the rehat maryada.
I know its really does not matter for you but if you are a truly faith on god please remove that pictures and try to use another funny pictures but not like you put earlier(pictures of rum).

Veerji, I’m not sure whether this is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ but regardless, a few of us were watching this the other night and were in creases!!! It’s good to see that you guys can have a laugh at yourselves rather then pretending to be stiff upperlipped puran saint soldiers, policing everyone else’s sikhi, and pointing the ‘anti-gurmat’ finger at all and sundry who don’t happen to share the same thought processes and views as them! Yes we got to try and get to sehaj and leave such frivolous things behind, but forcing it only makes it tougher to acheive, so until we do there’s nothing wrong with being true to yourself, and havin a few jokez ‘n cokez along the way!!
I got to say though, there are ‘dodgy’ connotations to the name in British asian slang (infact everyone who heard the name before they saw the video said “Haaaaaaaaaa” lol!) – but you’re not responsible for the filth that we’ve picked up, in fact I think this is a great way to change/replace the ‘bad’ connotations!!! So thanks! lol
Just imagine if we could change the connotations to all the fowl phrases/lyrics we’ve picked up - nirmal man here we come! Lol

What is a Gursikh...a human being! and i believe Sukhy Singh exemplifies that...he has the knowledge to back anything up as well as stand up for the right things...having a laugh shows that he can reach out to almost anyone (except those who don't want to know!) You are an inspiration since I met you and now seeing these makes me respect you even more...i don't know anyone else who would be able to carry this out!
